The second paper of Claire on hybrid gold nanoparticles has just been accepted in Small. We used liquid 1H NMR and DFT to get insight into ligand exchange properties, intermolecular interactions and entropy balance within the mixed ligand shells at the surface of gold nanoparticles. DOI:

Spin transport in nanocrystals
We report in Advanced Materials the original surface-driven spin transport in perovskite nanocrystals. This work has been achieved thanks to an original synthesis of nanoparticles in inorganic molten salts. This is our first joint paper with Bernard Doudin’s group a IPCMS-Strasbourg, and José Gonzalez Calbet’s group at UC Madrid. Thanks to all! Looking for future joint achievement! This work is highlighted by the Institute of Chemistry of the CNRS. |
Congratulations Guillaume!

Hybrid nanoparticles and nanoplasmonics
In this article, we propose a methodology coupling spectroscopic ellipsometry, UV-visible spectroscopy and calculations, aiming at highlighting charge transfers between the core of a gold nanoparticle and the organic shell of capping molecules. Hence, we demonstrate unparalleled charge transfer resulting in a giant shift of the plasmonic response.
